How many people here take muscle relaxants? If so, which one help, with the least side effects?
I get really stiff alot and it is hard for me to feel comfortable. My jaw is even really tight.Last week I got no sleep, had a ton of pain and was extemely stiff. I stole one of my boyfriend flexeril and it made me feel better. Im thinkinga bot asking my doctor for a perscription, but i wanted to research it some more first.
Any tips on this one guys

I just wanted to say that ive learned so much for all you guys. It really helps having people to talk to and learn about how to control my pain. Its really hard to get good imformation or much sympathy for doctors because people dont really understand what i feel like because i look fine i guess
take care

I had no idea that my jumpy/twitchy muscles were part of FMS/CFS. I also have chronic PTSD. When that's triggered the startle reflex goes into high gear and I know to expect jumpy/twitchy muscles. When the PTSD isn't triggered, I still have the same problem sometimes.
Thanks for the great info, it explains a lot! |

| I'm currently taking Parafon Forte. It totally relieves the headaches from my TMJ as well as helping with knotty muscles I get from fibro. But it can make you drowsy. Other than that, it works quite well. |

Ive got the twitches too, i feel like i cant make my muscles relax. I just alway feel really tense. Maybe i should try acupunture or something like that. Ive always wanted to try acupunture to see if it helped, or maybe yoga |
