Well I'm halfway through my 6th week and doing remarkably well. I have much more energy and I'm picking up the threads of my life again. I have to keep in mind that I'm 74 going on 75 and my strength is not what it used to be, especially my legs. I've had CFS for more than 20 years and its been nearly 5 years since I went down with severe CFS and most of that time I couldn't walk more than a hundred yards. Now I'm getting about very well indeed, driving the car for long distances (upto a hundred kilometers) I'm doing jobs I couldn't have considered before, such as chopping the wood (its winter here) and other jobs around the place. The thing which I am most impressed with is pushing through tiredness - what I mean is when I was chopping the wood I started to get tired but I ignored it and pressed on. Now that kind of thing would normally have caused me to relapse badly but no such relapse occurred. I've done the same thing walking, legs get tired but I push on! Another thing is that I no longer have to get down and sleep during the day which is great. When you consider that I have only been doing this course for five and a half weeks there is ample time for further improvement.
As soon as I read Ashok's explantion of CFS I knew that was me - you get a much fuller explanation on the DVD's than you get on his website. This guy really impresses me, he knows what CFS is like in the manner which only someone who has suffered from it would know. He also knows every facet of my personality - he covers everything in absolute detail, nothing is left out or ignored, he is brilliant.
From my present point of view I would say that anyone who is suffering from severe CFS would be a fool not to consider this course. Here's the URL again just in case anyone wants to have a look.

looks v. interesting!

i actually had a lot of success with NLP early on... it was probably a major turning point for me

i'm sure the emotional/psychological side of the condition is of critical importance as it probably set you up to get unwell in the first place... look forward to investigating this!
