| I have found major improvements with Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker's protocols. He has found that biotoxins are a major player in these illnesses and that an easy to take med can pull the toxins out. It's made a world of difference to me and I didn't see any other posts here on it so I thought I would share that. You can read all about it and even take on on-line screening test at his new site at: biotoxin .info |

I had a look at the website. It looks very expensive, can you tell me what kind of costs you were involved in? I guess that this treatment is available only in USA - I live in New Zealand so probably would miss out anyway.

i tried the online visual test they had and paid to download the protocol. Which was basically using the cholestorol drug cholestyramine to clean up toxins in the body and also the drug actos to lessen the herxheimer reaction.
I tried to get my dr. to let me try cholestramine, but she told be that using fiber supplements would bind to toxins and clean out my system just as good as the cholesteramine, which i dont really believe. |

I eat totally organic and try to stay away from meds and go natural whenever I can. I have tried most (I think) of the products that are supposed to remove the biotoxins and none worked nearly as well (or at all) as the cholestyramine. In fact, with the cholestyramine, I have to take it in small doses or it mobilizes too much neurotoxin at once and I feel really, really bad. I only take 2 tsp per day and it is such an amazing help! I would recommend it to anyone suffering with a biotoxin illness, just would warn them to ramp up the dose slowly.
As far as costs: the cholestyramine at that dose I take is only about $120 for a 6 months supply (need a prescription), and the biotoxin screening test at www . biotoxin . info is $14.95.
The bloodwork which I had done at Dr. Shoemaker's office was around $1000 but my insurance paid for all of it. I got all the bloodwork, and not all patients require that. I know some people who don't do any bloodwork actually but I wanted to know for sure. |
