I get so light headed when i stand up from sitting down for a while. My doctor said i have neurally mediated hypotension, or something like that. He wants me to go in for a tilt table test to cofirm that i have it. I don't think i really need a test to tell me that i get lightheaded when i stand up. I already know that this happens. Is there any lind of drug i can take for this? I almost fainted the other day i was getting so light headed
i think this is pretty common with CFS. I have problems with this also. You can take Beta- blockers to help keep you blood pressure at a steady level. I dont think these are really supposed to improve your overall symptoms though
Ive been having a problem like this for a while now. When i stand up from laying down for a while i feel like im about to faint. Ive experienced this every once in a while throughout my life, but recetly its gotten alot worse. Just abot everytime i stand up quickly, after ive been laying down for a while, This happens. I think im gonna go to my doctor and ask about this. I dont want to faint and fall down and hurt myself.
