I just came across an article written by a blogger (that spoke to an XMRV researcher at a conference recently) and they were under the impression that consensus was building that XMRV was the cause of CFS.
- but keep in mind this is a blog that ive never come across before. Still interesting though.

I mean can anyone here say that anyone they have had sexual relations with came down with CFS? Surely with the thousands and thousands, of us one of us would have given to mate and I bet not one person ANYWHERE can say that there spouse has caught CFS as well.

Well, Actually, I had sexual relations with a woman who had fatigue and health issues. It went OK for a while, and, not to get too graphic, I had too much rubbing and abrasion one evening and am sure I came into blood contact through the raw tissue. I woke up the next morning and could not urinate. I began to feel ill and SURPRISE..I have been sick for 25 years. I don't totally buy the HHV6 thing...but then I don't buy much of anything medicine has to offer. It is all guess work. Biology is not like physics...It cannot be deduced by math.. to quote Pascall: "Unless an event can be summarized in quantitative terms, there is no validity in the description or study of an event". I hope I am wrong but I hold out no hope for medicine to come to the rescue of anything.

I havent heard anything new the last couple weeks. I think it because of the holidays.
But one of the top researchers at whittermore-peterson is going to be giving a talk about XMRV in the middle of january. Its only a couple hours away from me, so i think im gonna go and take notes and pictures.
Hopefully they'll have some new info.
