Can hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) help with CFS?

Postby alexandra09 » Mon Oct 12, 2009 1:57 am

Hello All,

My mother who suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome has discovered that oxygen therapy called HBOT can help in healing its symptoms.
If somebody experienced this therapy or can deny/confirm its positive effects, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Thank you,
Alexandra.

Ive done it before. I think i did around 15 treatments. It didnt really do anything that had a long term benefit and its very expensive.
It would improve my concentration for about an hour, but then i got no positive effects after that.

Remember, though, it is important to follow treatment protocol.

15 Hyperbaric treatments is only enough to resolve very superficial symptoms, and it isn't likely the benefits will stick.

Many physicians prescribe for 30 to 40 HBOT sessions to create Angiogenesis, or growth of red blood vessels.
With better circulation, improved oxygenation and stem cell growth initiated, many complications from chronic fatigue are resolved. The studies are growing in number and are very informative.

30 to 40 treatments is quite an investment, of course. But if it's your life, what better to invest in?

Happy, healthy thoughts,
