I was bedridden when i first got ill for about 2 months and was housebound for a long time. It's only after about a year i started to have some sort of life. This took a tremendous amount of effort though i had to build up my walking every day. Even though i felt awful on most days i pushed myself to walk to build up my fitness. This is partly the reason i have got to where i am today. I'm blessed that i can still have some normality even though its tough.

I still have my bad days like today. My whole body severley aches, i feel very dizzy and weak. The worst are the mornings it's like torture. I still get very depressed because no one can help with my CFS and im terrified of the future.

Neil do you still play guitar? I find playing uke helps my symptoms. It does cause muscle pain in chest arms back and neck but thats not something that would stop me playing your doing so well, ya should be proud of yourself
