anger outbursts.

Postby billoddie » Thu Jan 14, 2010 4:23 am

When i am stressed and "under attack', i am very prone to anger outbursts. An irritating noise or something so trivial can be enough. It is more than just a mood thing. It really is like my brain has been taken over...like a jekyl and hyde personality. Anyone else have issues like this?

To an extreme degree. I believe the root cause of this is lack of delta/restorative sleep. My anger fortunately is taken out on inanimate objects. If something doesn't work right, its days a numbered.

Yes this was me too until I really got stuck into meditation. I no longer have it and calmly state what is bothering me. I got the feeling of "kill" for the most minor things...situations. Years ago I had a very good CFS specialist who had CFS too. He once asked me if I had anger outbursts and said it was part of it.

I relate to that "kill" feeling. Its so intense...like i am just taken over. because the internal battle is so intense, and your just hanging on, when that tiny little something extra comes along (for me it is noise), I just have this anger response. I hate it and at times I hate myself. Its usually those i love who cop it.
Hey, I gotta laugh too...most things these days (products) dont work right. They are absolute shite!! And so yes, they tend to cop it as well when the frustration boils over.
