The Lightning Process

Postby Minaret » Wed Feb 24, 2010 9:49 am

I was advised to look at this site by my daughter, who has heard of a remission of symptoms (of a third party) after using The Lightning Process.

This is their blurb:

Over the last 10 years The Lightning Process has made a breakthrough in the possibility of recovery for thousands of people suffering from M.E and the related disorders of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Post Viral Syndrome (PVS) and fibromyalgia (FM). If that is the reason for your visit, we hope that you will find the answers to your questions by visiting the special sections dedicated to these illnesss. ie M.E, CFS, PVS section

http://www.lightningprocess.com/what-is-it.aspx

Has anyone on the forum heard of it or had any relief from it?

you guys can talk about whatever you want. The only time i delete things is if someone makes a post linking to their own site that has a bunch of ads on it. Or if they are trying to sell something. Otherwise you can talk about whatever you want.

New research - Esther Crawley and the Lightening Process
http://www.afme.org.uk/res/img/resou...0March%202.pdf

"The team will carry out a pilot project to investigate how to recruit to a randomised
controlled trial looking at the Phil Parker Lightning Process® and specialist medical
care. This will be the first study of its kind in this area, and the team hopes to
establish a basis for a larger scale multicentre research project."

minaret hi,
if you do a search at the top of the page you will find quite a lot of references to the lightning process, quite a few of us have done it, or have opinions on it. hope you find that useful.

I havent posted on this board very often.

Ill be blunt, very blunt you can get well - Im testament to it!

Ive been sick for 20 years - ater spending 5 years looking at the biochemistry of CFS and trying different biomedical things.

My own root cause is a maladative stress response - It is the Gupta protocol that is getting me WELL !!! as well as working on my CORE issues and Self development /easing back into life. The lighning Process is meant to use similar techniques ..Ive never used it. Gupta is cheaper...try em both!

I do agree,
Gupta really helps, I know people getting much better thanks to it and healthy diet/appropriate supplements. I do it myself and it helps a lot, the reason why people dont do it is because u have to work at it every day, it's not a miracle pill u swallow. I remember I bought the cd last year at the same period and could sleep better, it calmed down my stress and I generally felt better but I stopped doing it and I feel crap again (for other reasons too), so now I'm back on track, along with my medical treatment (only natural stuff), exercises, oil pulling etc..

the body and the mind are connected, you can't heal the body if u don't first heal the mind, or maybe u'll just heal a bit but not long-term..

I dont take a SINGLE PILL!

The one area which people seem to have missed is to get a coach who add additional techniques to kick the stress response near the latter stages!

cs that's very encouraging. were you ever bed /housebound, able to work? i know it is in some ways irrelevent with the process, i just wondered. don't answer if you feel it's too personal.

Nope not housebound or bedbound.

Kinda muddled through - Ive stayed focused on the Ar programme and have just started work with a coach who specialises in this area to get to the resolve ROOT issues and to help me develop myself !!

I seem to be sorting out my mental and emotional issues but my physical symptoms mainly stay the same and its hard to progress and achieve things.

Hi

1) Stay focused on AR
2) Get a coach to help with more techniques to calm things down and then to RESOLVE issues driving the CFS
3) Develop interests / self development / mindfulness
4) Pacing / Yoga / light exercise may be helpful
5) Live a less stressful life!

i'm sure gupta really helps, along with EFT, yoga, relaxation etc but my biggest prob is that i feel STUCK, i know and am sure all this will help me but I just cant bring myself to do it. I always say "tomorrow i'll start doing this 100%" then the next day I find other things to do and at the end of the day i didnt do anything, when i start meditation or relaxation, after a few min I go crazy and cant go on with it, I feel restless and feel my brain doesnt want to calm down and shift to a more relax state. I do EFT and then stop then do it again then stop but I'm not regular and also my mind is going all over the place because I read different things on treatments, diets etc and I find it so hard to focus!

Today i wont get out of the house and will give it a try again-Gupta-EFT and relaxation+better eating
