Hi, does the rash ever become more defined as time goes on? I have a similar flat itchy rash...then it turns into something else.
Is it raised or bumpy feeling? Does the rash turn into polka dots. Imagine what the dots on a domino looks like. My "allergic" looking rash comes first...then I get large raised polka dots which are cherry red with white skin defined between the "dots". When you get this rash...are you noticing an odd not so itchy bump here and there elsewhere seemly unrelated?
Does oral antihistamine give any relief? Does hydrocortisone cream help?
The rash looks very much like an allergic drug or laundry detergent rash ( I saw alot of in when working in hospitals)...but pay attention and see if hours to days later it turns into a polka dot looking rash. What I thought was just allergies turned out to be Lichens Planus it was diagnosed by skin biopsy. Mine tends to occur when I am beginning a big flareup...but not so much with the small ones.
I would not expect this to be eczema...I have alot of family members with that and your pictures do not look like it to me.
Pay attention to any new meds or new laundry soaps...or bath soaps or shampoos. Try to note any "flareups" symptoms and see if the rash starts during those times...that would be important to know and could help the doctor in diagnosis.
