Hi Nia. Yes the clinic is at coomera. Its called "total health clinic". The main guy there is Dr John Franzi. He is based in canberra but comes to the GC every fortnight or so. I go and use the laser because it is cheap, but other treatment there (e.g cybertrone) can be expensive. I would be most interested in finding out a little more about the place you speak of because neural therapy is a central plank of the mike dessin protocol, and aims to restore and retrain brain functioning that has been damaged/lost through viruses. have a look at my last post in the mike dessin protocol. I have encountered scenar tool in my travels. Whilst i have not tried it, i have heard it is very effective for pain. I think the device is over $1000 dollars though. A soft laser machine is about $3000. On ebay recently i bid $80 for a second hand T.E.N.S machine which i would love to get. Whilst T.E.N.S may be quite old tech, it is still very effective, particularly if it is a proper practitioner device. My main challenge at the moment is making the gupta results "stick" under stress. Maybe neural therapy can help facilitate this, as it acknowledges the damage done to the amygdala and the associated flow on effect.

Thanks again billoddie. I will ring Amanda and find out more. Will PM you as well.

Have you tried watching what happens during the stressful situation? Does your breathing change? What thoughts are you having? I have noticed myself thinking I am going to crash after this and then do self talk. "If that's what you believe that's what you'll get, etc." Try talk myself out of it.

for me, there is is an almost imperceptible buildup of stress...and at some point an "attack" from behind my eyes and in my brain occurs. It feels like my brain dwindles away and my ability to think and my personality structure begins to disintegrate. Anxiety/fatigue etc etc soon follow. i have also been exploring self hypnosis to help change underlying negative talk patterns etc. Gupta has been awesome in helping me see how deep this negativity runs, I simply didnt see it before. I expect most of us with CFS dont really appreciate how insidious this negativity can be our psyche. hoping the hypnosis will root it out and strengthen the gupta results

I think I have experienced something similar, it's like the brain shuts down and everything goes numb. I am here but not really. I use "the work" of Byron Katie to address negativity, resistance etc. All info available free on the internet, read the books from the library. But it is even better if you can listen to her work.

I am trying to send you a pm but got the message "The requested users to be added do not exist." Any clues?

yes, that is exactly right. YOU are there inside, but the "software" has been disconnected...and i use all my energy in the fight to stop the following chain of events. Doing the stops can sometimes halt it. I have sometimes got the same msg when trying to Pm. Sometimes it works OK if you try the next day. This "brain fadeout" that we describe is evidence of the amygdala doing its thing I think.

I see it as pointless trying to fight it, I go to bed and sleep if really bad or just lay down be very still and watch it, breath, be patient and it passes eventually.

Sent an e-mail instead.
