EFT and TFT

Emotional Freedom Technique
Thought Field Therapy
I only recently found out about EFT and decided to get the book and learned in that about a Dr Roger Callahan who developed TFT.
I wonder if anyone has tried using TFT and what results they achieved. EFT is apparently based squarely on TFT and is a kind of streamlined version.

Here's a comparison http://www.integrative-clearing.com.au/ ... d_tft.html
If anyone has used TFT, did they find it any better than EFT ?

EFT is great for deeper issues - most coaches use it.

You can do the STOPS for the background noise and then home in on the re occuring thoughts which keep repeating via EFT.

I am having so much fun with EFT on You Tube. About a week ago I posted that I could not work out what may be stressing me....felt I had dealt with issues.....was not worried about anything. Then I saw Robert Smiths You Tube video on Releasing Past memories where he said stuff we cant even remember is holding onto to us and creating stress. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZ9WfaGO ... re=channel It all made sense to me then.

No worries - if you are going to go down this route.
Be prepared for faster recovery - integrate it when you can ie end of day or when you have lots of thoughts around a particular thought.
What I have found is that EFT works best alongside some Binaural beats CDS - can be used at end of day!
When gets used to going into a Deep meditative state its easier to work on your issues throughout the day

Cs,
I am sooo tired at the end of the day I barely know my name. I find I am better early morn to do stuff as it settles me for the day. Yesterday i was so sleeeepy all day so spent it in bed and did lots of meditation Holysync and EFT. Yet I was still grinding my teeth, I also had my usual nausea around so no matter what I did my body felt stresssed. In these times I just pass it over. Holysync is the same as Binaural beats is it not?

Hi Nia - I would recommend getting the book "The EFT Manual" - there's somewhat more to it than it gives on the free download.

Yep Holosync is Binaural beats.

I would do the shortened version of the STOPS and EFT whenever suits and the CD and any other meditation CD that help you relax daily until your amygdala gets the message!

The important bit is to relax and to interupt the thoughts.

Thanks

Thanks CS,
The free binaural beats on You Tube are brilliant....really zonked myself out with one this morning. More effect than my Holysync. A word of caution!!! A few yrs ago when I did Holysync I had just started Gupta. Holysync gave me tremendous anxiety.....stayed away from it for18 mths. Now it does not effect me in that way.
When you look at some of the binaural beat demos, they say sometimes that they are Alpha, or Delta or Theta etc then there are some that have the whole 4. I wonder does it matter. I think Delta is for sleep relaxation and Theta is for fears.....not sure about that.

Ken,
Thanks for the site. Last year I really erad up on EFT and everything else. I became too academic and I think hindered improvement. Now I just keep it all simple. Robert Smith has video where he barely hits the spots., just saying "let it go"
