Lilli,
I saw these on the weekend. The lady in the purple sweater reminded me very much of myself.....demanding son who hounded me and blamed me for everything. I have gone thru lots of the You tube videos and it helps so much to get an overall perspective on how and what to tap on. I wish he would demonstrate as I get kind of stuck in what to say. Its not just the CFS but it is buried traumas like I said last week that we may be not be aware that have to be tapped on.......am I right on this ?

Last week I had an upset when i found out my stepson who I raised from the age of 8 was desperately wanting to come 1000mls away to live near his ex alcoholic mother. Thought I dealt with the issue well and resolved it. I always wake at 11.30 pm every night and about 5 nights later I woke and found myself screaming the mothers name. This event I believe upset more than I was aware. So I think I have damaged my ear drums playing healing binaural beats for hrs a day as some I just love on You Tube....one from Dr Nepal.

I think CS is right, we have to find what is behind what stresssor triggered our CFS. I have spent a lot of money at the psychologist but things were not sufficiently dealt with. I think You Tube does a better job "sometimes."

yes I understand, I spent years and years at the psychologist too, at different ones but it never really helped because I never worked on my issues, I mean talking about them does not resolve them, and also like you said, most of the time we are not aware of what is wrong really. There are so many unconscious issues or things we didnt think they were important or affecting us.

I ask a lot of questions on the official EFT forum and they know CFS really well and give interesting tapping methods according tou your issues of course. I think I4ll ask oe of them for a private session, they're all practitionners and really good! One of them once told me that every day I should tap on the stress adding like if I feel upset because of sthg I should tap on it to not add anything to my CFS burden if you know what I mean because stress is really bad and adding a lot to CFS making it worse.

I love EFT but my problem is that I find it hard to know what to tap, what to say because there are so many things I should tap on and I tend to not be centered. I need to tap on my traumas, on my mum, on my binge eating, on my insomnia on men, on work etc it's a lot and I usually dont tap enough. Yesterday I did though and I4ll tap a bit now so that I dont binge eat during the day again!

Robert Smith is really good! I'd like to have a session with him through skype but it's so expensive.

Good luck to you! We can do it! We should keep each other informed on our progress!
oh what are these meditation with beats? is it good?

yes the forum is good and full with nice people willing to help. I'm having a private session with one of them tomorrow, I can't wait!
Also, they dont keep all messages so if you want to retrieve posts about CFS, you can google EFT forum and CFS or sthg. other wise I can try to retrieve my posts so that you have an idea of what they say about it. But it's best if you post a question as we all ahve different causes to our CFS!

Tap on your feelings and just express yourself and then end on a positive note - then release/breathe and observe.

If you are going to do EFT I think you will need to combine it with some meditation CD to increase relaxation.

STOPS on the negative thoughts.

I actually think the best method is to do both - supporting your feelings and thoughts via EFT and STOPS and increasing relaxation

Thanks

CS, that was exactly what I was thinking, I'm quite familiar with EFT now but realise that there are still things I4m not sure to do right.

Like I know that affirmation are strong so we should avoid to say negative things like "I am fat or feel fat" for ex but when you tap you do that like "even if I feel fat, I love andacceot myself" and then the round with "feeling fat" on each point, is this correct to do that?

I would do for insomnia for ex:

"even though i cant sleep i love and acceot myself" tree times on the KC then a round with "cant sleep" "so frustrated i cant sleep" etc

and then another round
even though i can sleep, i chose to stay calm
and then the round with "im calm", "i can get to sleep" etc

is it what you meant?

Last night I couldnt sleep, i spent 6 or 7 hours tossing in bed, I finally took a sleeping pill and slept a few hours, I feel crap now. I tapped for such a long time but it didnt seem to work. It released a lot of stuff, i yawned a lot but this thing in my head wdnt allow me to drift off you know this thing u feel when you drift off, so I tapped again, on the things that stress me, I always have insomnia when i have sthg to do or someone to see and am stressed not to sleep and to feel orrible and not able to go, u see? I had a bd last week and couldnt go, for the same reason now i have another bd on saturday and insomnias are already starting! also becaus ei feel pressured, my cousin so wants me to go. I hate it! I'll tap again today, hopefully it'll work.

Kinda

What my coach taught me was to be organic in my approach to the STOPS and EFT.

Dont over analyse - just to express and release your feelings whilst increasing your relaxation.

The guided relaxation CDS - relax the mind and can support subconcious

Thanks

Cs,
I do heaps of meditation. Just getting more serious with the tapping....trying to refine it. Do you mean to play meditative music WHILE you are tapping. What is your sequence. I know you work so I dont know how you fit it all in......you must be going to the toilet all day to do therapy.

Tapping on feelings in mornings and evenings...STOPS during the day

So i work on the mental side (thoughts ) with STOPs and emotional side ( feelings) with EFT

Ive found its important to be relaxed (so have some daily slots for relaxation ) or else you wont be in a calm state to do the STOPS and EFT.

Also you may want to do some bodywork for release - yoga, head massage and light pinches.

Thanks

youi know what, it's weird but i have realised that i cant do meditation, i mean eft is ok but it's just so hard for me to lie down or sit or whatever and actually meditate, i so want to do other things, eft is ok because i remain active and i wonder why i have this! i used to meditate a lot years ago, because i didnt have the telly and had nothing to do in my room, so i would doself hypnosis mainly an visualizations. now i have the telly and the internet and i cant stop myself for a moment to do it it's like it's stronger than me, or there is sthg i dont want to "see"? i have no idea. i do tap though.
