Emerald, i really hope that life becomes less challenging for you very soon, you are so strong, i know that if you keep drawing on the gentleness of the soften and flow, as that is what works best for you, you will come through it all even stronger. i really hope your daughter is better soon too.

neil and lili, i too find dizziness very hard, even though i am housebound, i have to hang onto bits of furniture and look drunk when i don't.

almost the worst symptom for me is the malaise, just feeling ill, horribly ill. have tried gupa and many, many other things, none of which have penetrated this. i wonder what diets other people are finding useful. also what supplements.

neil, good luck, i hope it goes well. if you pace yourself i'm sure you will be fine and it will be such an achievement when you graduate.

Annie,

As for the diet, what I think could help-as I have read SO many people getting really better with that is reducing or even avoid all grains and possibly dairies, well all dairies if they're not raw anyway.

You should have a look at Mercola's website, it's really interesting. Diet changes some people's life so it's worth finding out what diet suits you best!

God luck!

thanks for the vote of confidence. I have cut out wheat, dairy, citrus fruits and refined sugar and i feel much better for it. So it's worth trying if you havent already.

Neil -

I haven't been on this forum in a long time but came back tonight - I remember your posts from last spring. I am so excited that you are taking the step back to school. I know it may not be easy but the fact that you've got the energy to work out and have made dietary changes means that you are on the right track.

Some other tips (just from my own personal life as a self employed writer who basically studies subjects all the time):

Give yourself plenty of time to read and absorb what you've read. I find that my retention is a lot less than it used to be (but is getting better!) Double the time you think it will take you to complete your work. This way you won't get behind!
