The Medical Research Council are carrying out research into Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Graded exercise therapy (GET) and Adaptive pacing therapy (APT).

Personally I think this is a waste of time and money. While these may be good methods to help control cfs they are far from the cure which is being made out on itv news and the media. Exercise has helped me a great deal but it even helps those who are healthy. I think more money should be spent on studying genetics of a cfs person and other biological problems. This really got me upset im losing a bit of hope of any good research coming out of the MRC. it seems treatements either involve changing your thoughts/mind or exercise. Well ive truly had a enough of it and think that CFS sufferers deserve so much better research. The studies of pace make ME/CFS sound so trivial and it doesnt acknowledge the true suffering.
