I fell a year ago August and injured my hip/hips. I have had problems on and off over the past year, but this is the worst and longest duration! I can barely walk in the mornings and have to take 40mg of Oxycontin & Soma to walk around. I do not feel comfortable taking this much medication daily for the past week. I am terrified and it is affecting my anxiety and therefore my family relationships. My doctor said to wait another week but I need to know something-heat or cold, walk or stay in bed, try to ignore the pain or will it make it worse, stretch or stay stagnant? HELP!!! Is this related to my degenerating disk or a normal phase of this illness? I am 33 and have been diagnosed for 1.5 years. If anyone can lend advice,PLEASE PLEASE DO.
