| I take Cymbalta for pain, and instead of being in pain 95% of the time, I am in pain 60% of the time. I also take Ultram, and for sleeping I take Trazadone. |

| Ive been reading that alot of people are taking cymbalta for pain. Is this an anti-depressant like prozac, etc. Or is it different? |

Cymbalta is similar to Prozac, but it is my understanding that it has another ingredient which helps with pain. I was taking Prozac, but Cymbalta seems even better as an anti-depressant than Prozac. And then the added plus of easing my pain. My Sister, Brother and Mother-in-law are all on it.
