| I have had an ongoing nerve damage related illness for ten years that regularly causes fatigue of various degrees, however recently after on onset of that illness I have been severely fatigued, had an abnormal period of two weeks, I have had numerous labs with nothing conclusive. I thought maybe depression but I have been on a long term medication for that that has been successful until now. I have no desire to do or complete any task and now I am getting a cold to top it off. I just feel I am right to think there is something wrong despite no conclusive findings by my physician. But they can't even determine why I have a reoccuring viral illness at my age, 33. I seem to be a clinical mystery to my primary physician. |

| Its really hard to tell for sure. Many people with cfs dont know what is wrong with them for years. I think if you are consistantly fatigued and have concentration problems for a period of over 6 months. And you have had all of the lab work ups on thyroid, adrenal gland, anemia, and a full physical, it might be chronic fatigue. Its really difficult because right know there arent any conclusive tests, just a profile of symptoms that you can fall into. |
