Postby neil25 » Tue Nov 10, 2009 5:51 am

this is one of my worst symptoms i can barely move my fingers now. can anyone suggest anything that could help? i got a blood test at the doctor to test my esr and inflammation levels but it came back totally clear. i find this crazy as i have noticable swelling. think im going crazy.

this may sound a bit obvious, but maybe ibuprofen-- since it's an anti-inflammatory-- will reduce the swelling. though i'm figuring you might already have thought of that.

Most inflammation is caused by dehydration. Are you drinking enough water? For every 3st of body mass your body will use approx 1pt of water if you haven't been drinking your maintenance dose then you will be chronically dehydrated. Drink at least 1 1/2x your maintenance dose daily but most importantly check the hyoid bone in your throat is not jammed, as this problem is recurrent for me - your body does not absorb water when hyoid is jammed as it impinges on the vagus nerve in the neck and stops your body absorbing water through the stomach wall. So grab hold of your throat high up under your chin(chin down) and move the whole lot from left to right vigourously - if it hurts its jammed so push it through the pain. Check at night as you want your body to detox - this is vital info to all sufferers of most diseases! PS never take Ibuprofen it is highly toxic to the body.
