New here and newly diagnosed

After long illness I have seen an immunologist, after many tests etc I have just had my diagnosis:

chronic fatigue syndrome/fibromyalgia with recurrent viral infection

Is it as helpless as it feels right now? In lots of ways I'm pleased to finaly have a name for what's been going on for months. What little I've read so far says no cure. I only found out yesterday so Im still in shock a bit.

So sorry you had to join the club. We seem to have a politically incorrect disease with no cure.

I hope you have at least found a good doctor.
