[img]My foot pain is very severe - every day, every step. When i first stand up i have to wait a moment before i get used to the pain enough to move. Because they hurt so bad I fall down a lot!!! That leads to other injuries too. Now need rotator cuff (shoulder) repair surgery. I am 64 and have had fibromyalgia for 16 yrs following a car accident. Had jaw and teeth damage with severe headaches for over 1 1/2 yrs. Started having severe IBS and severe diarrhea that is still a daily problem. Regular exercise helps - 3-5 times a week, only one I can do is swim. Also have gout and severe arthritis everywhere.Had neck surgery 2 yrs ago due to spinal column being pinched in 3 places - stenosis - that weakened arms and made me numb up to shoulders with severe pain in arms and neck.

There has been some improvement since surgery and less pain and numbness but only 1/2 way. couldnt type this then. i never imagined that fibromyalgia could be part of the foot pain. good shoes and inserts do help - fall less. just got an electric scooter and love it

[/color I love photography and playing with it on my computer. That takes me away from noticing the severe pain I have everywhere. doctor is finally addressing my pain with medication but i must use breathing thing for sleep apnea so i won't forget to breath at night. Last year i was taken off all anti-inflamatories due to a dive in my kidney function. thats when it all got overwelming and the gout knocked me off my feet completely. sleep became almost impossible. several months ago i started clonazepam at night and it helps a lot. also gabapentin, 800mg 3 x day for nerve pain and mood elevation, doxepin for sleep and depression. I am also anemic, low calcium and D, low thyroid, hi blood pressure and chloresterol and have asthma. feel like a huge mess! hope something i have mentioned may help someone else. using a hot tub is helpful too.
