reverse therapy

Postby neil25 » Tue Sep 22, 2009 2:39 pm

Just wondering if anyone in the uk has tried this treatement and had any luck? it says on the website that they help treat chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. http://www.reverse-therapy.com/Reverse_Therapy/ the treatement however is really expensive its £80 per session and they reccomend that you take 8 which in total is £640. would be interesting to find out any experiences of them.

Neil, i tried this a couple of years ago, no help at all to me. i forget the details, but it focuses on the hypothalamus, and asks us to focus and act on our feelings. we just went round in circles, and i spent a lot of money.
talking of money, you are probably eligable for some benefits, i didn't realise this until i was flat broke having used up all my savings, the citizen's advice bureau can help, also action for m.e or the 25% m.e. group. perhaps someone could help you to sort this out. the forms one has to fill in don't apply to m.e really, so it is a bit confusing, but you have to think 'disabled'. i know this is against the gupta programme but it may help you to tide things over until you recover.
best wishes to you.

Hi there, do you know how much you roughly receive on benefits.

it varies tremendously, many factors being taken into consideration, sorry i can't be more specific, but get the ball rolling a.s.a.p. it takes a while to sort out.

Id call some the M.E groups and get on the benefits if you feel this would be of benefit for you.

Stay FOCUSED on the AR programme.

Did 4 sessions, got significantly worse with what they were asking me to do phsyically. Then was told that it wouldn't work for me when they ran out of ideas. No offer of refunding the £300 I'd wasted though, even though I wrote to mickel who was involved at the time - no response at all.

Charaltans! ;)
