Processing thoughts in the Present

Postby CS1 » Fri Nov 06, 2009 12:40 am

Something is stirring inside me

I feel that there maybe issues with processing thoughts and activitaing our brains because our brains are looping around our traumas by default we seem to long term memory orientated.

I wonder if there are ways to become more balanced and hold more short term memories.

I guess the AR stops the hyperarousal and some therapy may help with the blocks but maybe we need a something more to hold onto thoughts NOW so as to stop this continual looping.

Im going to be seeing a Life coach which I think will help my recovery and could be another factor to recovery. Will let you know how I get on...she'll be using hypnotherapy amongst other things ie time line, NLP and EFT, chakra balancing. All alongside the AR programme.
