Bodily Attention

Postby elmdener » Mon Mar 01, 2010 2:28 pm

Hi, I have just started the Gupta programme and may have missed this: I am trying to break negative and body symptom thoughts. However, I have to take my blood pressure a few times a day as it has been high. Obviously I can't stop that thought while I am doing this, so how does one pay attention to such other, non-cfs body issues without messing up the stop/break mechanism? I just do the A R exercise before and after. Hope that's right?

TIA, elmdener.

Keep smiling while you are taking your blood pressure, stay relaxed, breathe deeply.

I have just started it too. Lots of luck.....

Thanks, I thought so. Can't just ignore/ART some bodily phenomena - burnt my finger cooking tonight and turned the air blue. I can smile now ... :-)

Good luck

to elmdener: this is off topic but for a great natural cure for burns, apply HONEY. it is amazing how it almost instantly stops the pain, and speeds up healing. best to do it as soon as you get a burn. Good luck with the relaxation, too.

Try taking some epsom salt baths /dead sea mineral baths to relax your muscles.
