gupta programme didnt help M.E but cured anxiety

Postby pinkaboo » Wed Mar 03, 2010 3:35 pm

I have recommended the gupta programme to alot of people even though it didnt work for me i gave it 18months and put alot of effort into it followed it fully.
my m.e. didnt change at all i still had ups and downs and one bad flare up and the same level as i was the yrs prior to trying the programme, im serverely affected i get higher care higher mobility dla(just to show how bad i am..they dont give out dla lightly!)
I still feel the gupta proramme was a sucsess for me and worth the money, three yrs into my m.e. my second relapse i started getting panics attacts this built into anxiety disorder where i was in a constant state of anxiety.
the gupta programme was the only thing that worked id tried prozac! citalopram, cbt medication, relation,
within a day of getting the gupta programme i managed to attend my daughters graduation, it just worked for me, what he said made sence the process calmed me and i built and built on it to become free of anxiety,
im very grateful for the help its given me.

I think the programme can get you through however additional help from a therapist may be required to get to the core issues/traumas driving CFS/Anxiety.

this is exactly what the gupta programme helped me for. I still have bad anxiety but gupta helps me manage it. Unfortunatley gupta hasn't helped shift my M.E symptoms i still experience bad days when i overdo it.

hi CS
the core thing driving my anxiety was my M.E.
its a common symptom of the illness, i started feeling anxious after a relapse two yrs into being ill meds and cbt didnt help much but since using the gupta programme i would say its one symptom ive managed to get rid of

I cant comment on your situtation.

MY anxiety/trauma/stress response was driving my own CFS.

Once I have started to bring the stress response down the immunological side (toxins ) should balance itself out with a little help via other methods maybe.

Ive actually had my first session with someone from the openmind list.

It has reinforced everything I have done - I see NO obstacles to my own recovery now!
