technical question about the program

Postby gu3vara » Fri Apr 09, 2010 12:14 pm

Hi,

Been doing the AR since 2 weeks now and it has become quite easy for me to integrate it in my life, I really hope it will provide me relief.

However, for some reasons, I don't feel like meditating these days, i do some breathing exercice though, but i do the AR technique on every negative thought (well, most of them!). I have some pretty foggy head since a couple months and meditating is messing with my head...I did meditation everyday for 2 months at the end of 2009 and felt really depressed doing it.

Is it ok to go only with the retraining technique without meditation and soften and flow? I would probably add them back later, when it feels right. btw, I'm only seeing an energy healer and a psychologist than does EMDR sessions.

thx!

From my experience Keep up with Gupta - somewhere down the line youll come to a block and this where a therapist coach is needed to help resolve and clear out childhood issues and help you move forwards.

Im seeing a therapist and she is helping me clear all sorts of crap out of my head!!!

You may find the positive visualisation undepressing if there is such a word. Continue with AR, S&F and the visualisation and try the meditation again later. I think the S&F is a meditation. Forcing anything is counterproductive. It seemed to me that Ashok says the most important technique is the AR.

A weird thing, but try smiling while you are doing things, such as being at the computer or gardening etc. Even if you dont feel like it. Apparently this alters the brain signals (you can feel your forehead tighten when you smile) and it send different brain patterns to the brain telling the brain you are happy. These signals will eventually make the brain realise you are now happy and have re-learned the happy path, so that your feelings are eventually linked to happy ones.

Of course you feel like a right twit sat in the garden smiling, a wide-eyed smile on your face, when no one is around!!

But then you can't get arrested for smiling can you.

that's very true. Smiling while doing something does seem to change one's mood. I'm going to try to do it more often..:D

Keep up with the gupta.

im leading a near normal life at the mo, even the constant
leg pain has gone at present
Im in the 25th month of AR and still do the S&F every night
in bed. I find my sleep pattern stays stable if i do it at night.

i never imagined feeling this well and doing the things im doing
ever again - im so pleased i stuck in there and didnt give up
on AR when times were bad

i socialised today for 12 hours !!!!!! (its a miracle)
