I'm feeling good - this is my goodbye

Postby Emergo » Tue Aug 24, 2010 2:26 am

I haven't posted anything here for a while, and with good reaseon; I am feeling much better and am enjoying life more and more. However, I don't want to confirm the cliché of people getting better and then falling off the radar. The internet and various forums like this have helped me with info and support. As a bit of gratitude, with a final message, I'd like to let you - and future readers - know how I'm doing. I'll be short :-)

What is possible for me now?
- mountainbiking on an average bpm of 143 (!) three times a week (without excessive time or energy to recover from it),
- working at least 50% and probably building this up to 100% within 6-12 months,
- moving from doing work that is just possible to work that is within range of skills/ education/ interest,
- having an engaging social and family life,
- being able to listen to music and play 30 mins guitar a day myself,
- not needing more than 7-8 hours sleep at night and no need for naps or sleep during the day,
- no more medication or supplements,
- driving the car from The Netherlands to France for a holiday (and not feeling like roadkill),
- got a dog (and am walking it a couple of times a day) ;-)

It's hard to say what really got me here. What really helped me was electro acupuncture to get rid of all the flu like symptoms and EFT to get in a better emotional/ mental shape. The ARP was the final click I needed - this gave me just the right perspective and state of body/mind to get on my way and - so I believe - create somewhat of an environment in which other 'stuff' could florish.

I feel for all of you that are looking for better days. I know what it feels like! Allthough this is my last post on this board, I am always available for questions. Please do EMAIL me as personal messages do not seem to get through.

Keep believing that things will get better!

Bye,
Marc

Marc great to hear that you're so much better. I'm sure everyone on this forum will be really pleased for you and hearing that it IS possible to recover from CFS keeps us all going. I know I too will make it, it's just a question of when. good luck!!

Marc, thank you so much for posting and telling us your good news. I think we are all helped so much by news such as yours as we toil away with our own journeys. Wishing you all things good for the future.

Great Im glad...it has worked the combination of Gupta / EFT ....you may want to get the new Accelerator programme from gupta to really nip things in the BUD.
