I usually do not respond to some of the negative outburst like there are on this thread, especially when they're not backed up by some solid arguments.

But what is the point? If you really want to put out a genuine warning sign; then why the bashing? If you really think Ashok is a fraud; then why make a fool out of yourself by debunking a programme that you clearly did not try yourself? How reliable does this make YOU and your opinion? And the reference to Ashok's (positive) bio as proof that we should ignore what he has to say? Come on!

I think we are all afraid. Afraid that we will not get better, afraid that this is indeed more money down the drain, afraid that it won't work again. Or we are ashamed, maybe, to expose ourselves once more in hope of recovery with the risk of being mocked by others for being so foolish to try again when other people "told you so" that it would not work beforehand.

But we TRY! We are the positive ones, the ones that pull ourselves together time and again, because we know that someday we will find a way to get better, that there will be something that will get us there. Yes, there will be disappointments and, yes, looking back we have spent money on stuff that didn't work and may have been a bit naieve. But we truly believe, that being stuck in negativity, criticism and trashing down everything that looks hopeful is NOT the way.

Maybe this is not the thing for you, but it might be for others. Does this mean I oppose to critical comments? Of course not! But if you genuinly want to warn people for being robbed, then give us some facts. Otherwise; be honest to yourseld and just admit what is REALLY your own emotion behind your negativity.

I have had CFS since I was 38 years old, I am now 52, and I say yes, Yes, YES!

I started the Ashok Gupta's Amygdala Program in December 2009. This was due to a disastrous flare that started last May of 2009.

My physical therapist's office charged my insurance over a grand for his services. The neurologist and hospital, charged the insurance about $5000.00! All from which I benefited, but they all pointed that there was not much else they could do about my CFS! None of those services have helped me manage my CFS like the Amygdala re-training has.

For a mere $200.00, it has been my very best help! I say DO NOT bash Ashok, instead GOD BLESS him.

This gentleman offers a full refund, if the program does not help you recover within 6 months. Even if I don't fully recover, it will be my doing, not his. Otherwise it has helped me so much thus far.

Warmly,
Sharon Anne

My son is exhibiting all the symptoms of cfs and we live in a part of the UK where there is very little specialist help. I am at the research stage of trying to get him better. Having done a lot of research about the Gupta technique I can see a lot of sense in what is proposed (I had already got my son onto Yoga as I thought his beathing was poor)- and the shock theory does fit in with a move to a new and demanding school. I think the deal is a tremendous one- far cheaper than a couple of trips to a holistic health clinic. Very consistent with a bed bound patient who is better treated at home anyway. So far as I can tell Gupta's credentials stack up and the testimonials are supportive- in fact I dont think I've read anything actually negative about him (by which I mean comments by someone who has been let down by him as opposed to simply not liking the sound of the treatment or pointing to his other commercial activities which are really a neutral factor). That said- and as I am proposing to start the dvd process shortly- I wondered if anyone had tried it, found that it did not work, and returned the DVDs and got a refund as the site promises? Also any experience of it being used with young people- my son is a very serious 12 year old.

I do know several people who got their money back, no questions asked. they all felt overwhelmed by the programme as they are very ill and find d.v.d watching hard.
i think if you watch it with your son, or, better still, watch it yourself first then teach him in your own language, it could be very helpful indeed. children have far less pre-conceived ideas than us, and there have been really good results with them. if you are in doubt you can always ring the gupta centre for help and advice.
the very best of luck, let us know how you get on.

hi i had great success in curing my anxiety disorder ive posted about it
*whether it works or not your offered (or you were) your money back if it doesnt
*its cheap compared to other treatments
*it wont make you worse and even serverely affected sufferers can do it
i took a photo of ashok from the dvd onto my mobile so if im faltering he can remind me i can visulise him talking easier(sorry ashok its not stalking honest: )
the one thing im most impressed about is the content and length and follow on support that ashok sends even though hes getting nothing from it...we have already bought the programme, if he was just about the money why would he spend so much time on this.

I did find the gupta programme help my anxeity and overall calm me down. However after doing it for four months i would still get bad relapses. I only do the gupta programme when my symptoms are really bad now. I wouldnt say im cured by a long shot but i suppose gupta has helped me get the balance in my life back.

Has anyone found the gupta programme completly cured them of their physical symptoms? I really wanna hear from you? what i mean by completly cured i mean someone who no longer experiences symptoms of cfs and does not get relapses.

I think Gupta should be the core, I think most will need more help to get to core issues (once they are calmer )concsiously/subconciously and work on mindfulness/self devlopment and doing the things they enjoy most.

Gupta has acknowledged that the program is helpful but not a cure.

I think he said it in the Prohealth interview a few months back.
