I wonder if Ashok will be going to this conference? It seems the place to go to make some headway with his program. There are many people with whom to talk about his ideas. I hope that he is there.

Hi Everyone

Happy Holidays! Thankyou for all the kind messages on one of the other threads.

Good news! I have recently found out that I am presenting at this conference in Reno in March, I am presenting a poster abstract which is great news! My study paper will also be published in the conference brochure which should hopefully generate a lot of interest. If you know of any researchers/clinicians that might be going or are interested in my work, please do let them know that I would be happy to speak to them.

I may also be in a position to announce a couple of trials which will be launched early next year, but will only do so once we have the official go ahead. Hopefully this will be in time for the conference,

Kind regards
Ashok

poster papers

Postby sam-e » Sun Dec 28, 2008 6:04 pm

I learned about poster papers at the IACFS/ME conference in Fort Lauderdale in 2007. Poster papers are auxiliary presentations at a conference. They are not part of the regular agenda, but extra presentations selected by the people who run this conference. There are usually about 20 poster paper presentations. They are in the same hall at the main lectures, off to the side and available for browsing. Often the author of the poster paper will be in proximity to the display and open for conversation. In 2007 there were poster papers by Garth Nicolson, Teitelbaum, Dr Park from Korea, Rich van Konynenburg and others. It is quite an accomplishment for an independent researcher or individual to be selected to make a poster paper presentation.

Many people will read about Amygdala retraining at this conference.

Congratulations Ashok!
