Bowel/Digestive Pain. . .helped?

Postby TheLegend » Thu Jan 22, 2009 8:05 am

Have any of the users of the Programme found a way to settle their digestive/bowel pain and issues using the techniques?

Mine has got worse recently due to a bad medication experience with Amitriptyline (evil stuff) and I'm finding it difficult to regain some balance. I know I need to really get fully into the technique(s) but I've found myself concentrating on my goals and tasks since the turn of the year rather than practicing the components of the programme.

Bowel/digestive pain

Just a thought. Is Amitriptyline an antiobiotic? If so, a probiotic can help. It's a good thing to take in any case, and you can find it at the health food store, not expensive. Ashok does say in the DVD that this program might be useful for IBS and other conditions (not an exact quote.)

No it's an old antidepressent used low dosage as a pain med in such instances such as tension headache/bowel pain etc.

I take Probiotics but they can't do much when it gets to a certain stage.

some improvement

Postby dmbaken » Sun Feb 01, 2009 7:37 pm

Hi

My wifes problem seemed to start with food problems and candidaiasis. She has been on a very restricted diet for years. Things had been improving as far as digestion for about a year before starting the Amygdala program (thanks to amed a Dr gaver her). She has been on digestive enzymes, probiotics and one other supplement. Ma has been taking less of these enzymes since being on the program. She has not been able to eat more foods but her digestion has not worsened either.

Hope this helps

Hi everyone

Generally a lot of patients report that digestive symptoms gradually improve whilst on the Gupta Programme. People who get to full recovery can go back to eating most foods once they are well, although I still recommend keeping a good healthy diet.

I don't recommend any specific supplements, obviously pre-biotics can be useful but I'm not an expert. I think diet is a more intuitive choice, I think that most patients know which foods make them worse and which feel better.

One last thing - if you have digestive upset or IBS, use the soften and flow on the symptoms in the stomach. This can help loosen the muscles of the gut which sometimes can cause problems.
