Ashok, WHY 6-12 months after 85-100% better for work?

Discuss The Guptra Programme's Amygdala Retraining Techniqes

Ashok, WHY 6-12 months after 85-100% better for work?

It just seems to me that is an awfully long time to not TRY to work.

I think of after surgery you should get up and walk.

If you have a nervous breakdown you should get occupied with a job.

I think oc course not to set oneself up for failure with a beyond capabilities full-time job. But why not a part-time job a couple times a week that isnt' important if one gets fired from it. Just a little nothing job.

I know that as I get more stable energy I want to do more things, yet I've been doing the same things I've done before, things that are FREE. A little more money for a little more fun would be nice.

I wonder why a little job doesn't help to rehabilitate the amygdala/stress response. It seems more stressful getting better but feeling it will still be another year to earn any money.

Anyone feel the way I do here or am I in the minority?

Thank you,
Sylvia

Well I find it very difficult not being able to have a project to get my teeth into. Not so much the money side of things - though that would be nice - but more the feeling of satisfaction in a good days work.

I try to feel like that about the AR, as if it is my job, but it's not really all that gripping after a while!

Dear All

The 6-12 months thing was to stop people going headlong into a stressful environment which could bring symptoms back, given that the amygdala can still be sensitive if it has not been fully retrained. So I agree that a part time job can be a great way of providing distraction, and be "engaging for the mind".

Yippppeeeeee!

Ah, you don't know how much this means to me that you give the go ahead for a part time job in the sense of distraction and interest (engaging for the mind).

Doing a happy little jig right now.

Thank goodness I asked, thank goodness you answered!
