Speeding Results whilst on Gupta Programme

Postby CS1 » Sun Mar 29, 2009 6:55 am

The Amygdala programme is brilliant no doubt for the stress response as is AROMATHERPY and MASSAGE.

For me I had to balance my blood sugar levels also ie eat a high protein, lots of fats and salads and veg and low carbs. Im sure at some point down the line Ill be able to introduce a little carbs.

Then ease into yoga, rebounding, weights -(im working on this now)

The main point im trying to make is that we all need to keep an open mind and other treatments may help alongside the amygdala treatment ie DIETARY changes , DETOXIFYING and supplementation.

Dietary changes , detoxifying and spplementation is relatively simple :

Try a high protein, lots of fats and salads and veg and low carbs - to help rebuild your ADRENALS which are probably BURNT OUT!

Detoxifying - Whey Protein and Coriander and chlorella to chelate heavy metals, liver flush, & coconut oil,Probiotics & lecithin, fish oils, evening Primrose oil and minerals

Supplementation with mitochondria supps : coq10,droobios, nadh, magnesium,Pantothenic acid

Looking after your lifestyle and diet may help speed recovery alongside AR training.

Alex howard looks into the whole mitochondria issue in UK.

Very important!

You have to give your body every chance to recover. I train therapists how to treat CFS and nutrition and supplementation is a big part of my treatment protocol. I am not alined with Ashok but one of my students works with his clients.

Best wishes for your continued recovery

I agree with the above BUT I have done all of the above with no results except for Adrenal/thyroid hormones and DHEA. There are probably people on this forum who can barely afford to eat let alone go and buy all this extra stuff. Just eating well with lots of good fresh veges and fruits is the road to take and not get hung up on the fact that you might just get better if you could afford all this extra supplementation. Over 20 yrs I reckon I have spent $100,000 trying to get well and it is still going with me now doing the Art of Living course. More money but well spent.

I can relate ive been spending $500-1000/mo on supplements. It is getting rediculous, i want to cut back, but i feel like i need all the ones i am taking now.
Before i was taking any supplements, i couldnt drive a car because i felt too spaced out. But since i found my regimen, I drive, work from home, and do alot more, but i am still a mess.

the bind of suppliments

Postby dmbaken » Tue May 19, 2009 7:01 pm

Hi

Suppliments are difficult. Before starting the AR program we were spending about $300NZ on suppliments every 6 weeks. Each suppliment seemed to add alot when it was started but then the much of the effect would wear off after 2-6 weeks. So you end up with all these suppliments that are taking all your spare money and there is nothing left to look at others things that can realy make a difference. When the AR came along its cost was $300NZ (our exchange rate was favourable) but we figured that if it worked we would ave ourself lots into the future. It has worked and MA only now takes the basic suppliments (grape seed extract and fish oils).

I tend to agree with that observation. The supplement list keeps getting longer, and a sort of psychological dependency grows on them (along with a growing monthly expenditure). But, it is not clear to me that this stuff is really doing much good. I've stopped the supplements at certain times and really could not tell the difference. There's a whole industry built around the psychological benefit of supplements for CFS patients who are willing are very vulnerable to try anything that will work.

irony

Hi recovery Soon

That's why I find it so funny that people get sceptical about Ashok ripping us off and complain about the cost of the AR. They are spending lots more on the suppliments yet seem to do so without the scepticism!! The most popular site I have found is even sponsored by a suppliment company! Our family have saved so much money thanks to the AR its great.

Kind regards
