Hi question on adrenal gland

Postby Gattone » Thu Apr 16, 2009 8:18 pm

Wath if one has adrenals already burned out? I think that destressing works really well for those who are anxious on a hipersecretion of cortisol, could gupta programme be helpful for those who already burned out (low cortsiol, flattened, low hormones)?
i think this is a central issue, i wonder if ashok has studied the stress phases(alarm resistence burnout) and how the body could return to normal functioning. i mean.... is there a point of no return , wich i fear is the adrenal insufficiency?
This is very important for me i can 't go on the programme with a doubt like this, as it's really negative
p.s. sorry for the mistakes i'm italian:)

Go on the program and see what happens - if it doesn't work for you then you can get your money back - you have nothing to lose!

Hi Gattone,

are you seeing a dr about this? I think if your adrenals are VERY low, even regular doctors can diagnose you, though if they are just a "little" abnormal, they will not notice.

There is a site http://www.adrenalfatigue.org/
created by dr Wilson, who treats adrenal fatigue mostly with just supplements, not drugs. The extracts he sells help to rebuild the adrenals.

Or if you can see a good alternative dr, like a kinesiologist, she may be able to help too with supplements.

Sometimes it is hard to tell where adrenal fatigue ends, and CFS starts. One possibility is to treat the first, then do the Gupta program.

Adrenals

Postby efly » Fri Apr 17, 2009 7:53 pm

Hi
The Ar programme is ''Stopping '' the stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system...which means the adrenals.so if they are balanced[and not reacting all the time] it would give them a chance to heal.
The body REALLY has an amazing ability to heal...given the right conditions.

I agree with efly. From my experience of the GAR it's amazing how the body can recover from seeming impossible states of bad health.

Hi Gattone,
You will rise from the ashes. 12 mths ago I crashed badly with adrenal burnout and could not phone my family for 6 mths or my body went onto shock. Bed rest and hydrocortisone, good food and nutritional supplements got me back to a about 60 % and then I found the Gupta program.

I am here to tell you that you will improve on the Gupta program and it will become a way of life using the Stop Stop Stop to prevent the adrenaline surge. Yesterday was testamount to this as I travellled 2 hrs each way to a major city for Garden Expo and home again and today at 6am. I am here next morning bright as a button.

My husband encouraged me every day and told me I would get over my adrenal crisis and you will too with proper help guidance. The Dr Wilson site is a great place to start or Clymer Healing Centre will help you by phone consultation or email consultation.

Hi!
I am new here and this topic has caught my eye because that is exactly why I am here! I currently have severe adrenal fatigue/insufficiency and take hydrocortisone but still am extremely fatigued. I have realized that all my life I have suffered with exagerated 'fight-and-flight' response and maybe that's why I ended up where I did. I am 37 and would like to get the programme with hopes for some help.
