Movement!!!! How we move!!!!

Hi All,
I think its important at some point in our healing to observe how we move. Look at your ''posture'' at a particular time. When we are in certain physical movements,[and this could be just sitting in a paticular way]the body can remember this as part of the stress response and fire off the Amygdala.Changing the WAY we move helps change those Neural pathways.
Ive started doing a thing called ''Wu Tao'[you can google it]'which is a combination of ballet and I guess chinese movements from Qui Gong or things like tai chi.We are all unaware of how our body state is on a minute to minute basis. With the ''stop stop.we are observing our body state..releasing the tension.

I agree wholheartedly with you. I'll even go farther and say location.

Often I am sitting and laying on the floor---getting out of the habitual posture and location of posture, my left side of the couch, my legs crossed in that chair. Really reinventing many habits especially around the house where the patterns are so entrenched. I think moving and new furniture could be a nice shake up too.
