Soften and Flow easier after a week

Postby Chronicfatiguetreatments » Tue Aug 18, 2009 4:58 pm

Ive been doing gupta for about a week now, and it was really hard for me to relax and do the meditation exercises at first, but its so much easier now. At first i felt like i couldnt really get into a relaxed state, my stomach was alway in knots, but now i feel like i can get relaxed pretty quickly.I usually do a whole 20 minutes now, when the 1st few days i could only do it for 10 and i would get antsy and quit.

Its hard to say if im feeling any better yet (its only been a week), because ive had some really stressful things going on lately. But ive been sleeping well. So ill keep doing it and report back later.

Hi CFT.
As you get Less'' Antsy ''youll notice the stress levels seem to come away in layers. Like the layers of an onion. I had NO idea how ANTSY I was...all the time....as time went on I began to notice big changes, Shoulders instead of being up near my ears now feel where they should be.Big waves of release occur each time I identified a big stressor....One of mine was every time the phone rang I would ''fly into action''...Took the phone off the hook ,....some of the EXTREME measures we have to do to get better....removing stressful people from our world till we are stronger .
Good Luck
keep going

Ditto on the phone thing. I dont get alot of calls, but i work from home and have to deal with a few calls everyday, but its not too bad.
I already feel more relaxed after a week. This morning i woke up and felt some energy which was kind of a shocker, i dont want to get ahead off myself yet, but i hope i keep waking up and not feeling drained.
I started doing the soften and flow once a day for the last week, but now that i thinki feel some benefits, im going to do it twice a day for twenty mintues. Hopefully that'll help quicker. :D

CFT - you can do the S&F anytime your feel tense or anxious or stessed - you can do as often as you want, its one of the best techniques I know of. You don't have to do a full 20 mins, although thats the best way - 10 mins here and there will help.

Ive been trying to do it twice a day. I also did it once before i had to run some errands. Its helpful, it makes me feel a bit more relaxed and clear headed and make it easier to get my stuff done.
Sometimes it is hard to get through the whole thing though. I think its kind of funny when he says the part about the "flowing river", so sometimes i quit then because i start laughing. But i like it. So far so good.
