Yawning whilst doing visualisation exercise

Postby Emergo » Tue Aug 25, 2009 11:42 pm

Hi all,

I've been doing the visualisation exercise (on and off, to be honest  ) but one thing always is the same; I yawn. I should say: YAAAAAAWN. Doesn't feel too bad, actually, but it is kind of funny. I'm trying to visualise health and happiness and energy, but I 'act' like I'm tired...

Anyone else got this (or even better; ideas :) )?

Best,
Emergo

Emergo,

Often when I'm yawning then I'm not tired but it's because I'm tense and not breathing enough (even stopping to breath). Therefore, I yawn to get more oxygen.

Maybe this is the case, too with you? Maybe you are not relaxed when you do the visualisation?

Or, you are so relaxed that you really get tired ....

Hi
I think the Yawning is the body actually releasing. When I first noticed myself REALLY relaxing... Id go into these WAVES of YAAAAAAWWWWWWN ,on and on... Still do,.... If I do lots of AR, I go into the yawns.....Tears pouring out of eyes[not crying]...Things seem to LET go a bit!!!
So I think Its a GOOOOOOd sign.
Cheers

Ha, this is funny, I get exactly the same thing! Not always during the visualisation, just quite often halfway through the main AR technique. Must be caused by a shift in breathing patterns, nothing to worry about or read too much into I don't think :)
