Yes; although I have to admit that I find a lot of people who talk about mind/body stuff turn me off with pseudo-scientific mumbo-jumbo about "blocked energy flows" and the like. Next they'll be rabbiting on about Finding God and the like. I don't generally buy it, but the mechanism Ashok talks about made complete sense to my rational mind. Let's keep at it... we'll get there.
