Yeah I find it hard to drink lots of plain water especially in winter. What I have is half boiled and half room temperature water. I put the rest of the boiled water in a thermas flask so I don't have to keep boiling the jug. I add lemon juice sometimes - it is very cleansing and alkalising and sometimes I add a little honey. I read ages ago that a little honey helps the cells to hydrate but haven't come across that again. I have only read recently about a little salt and I think that also is a good idea because it is added to water when people are dangerously dehydrated. Personally I use sea salt for the added minerals which are important. In winter I also add fresh ginger as it is warming. I think herbal teas are ok as well, they may add a few anti-oxidants. I am no expert on any of this, just try to improve on things where I can.
