Hi all or just anyone who will read this.

I am not a CFS/M.E sufferer but my 12 year old daughter is. I have been trawling the net to find something that i can do to help her!

I'm not getting anywhere with the doctors really she is on a vitamin supplement, tonic type and taking echinachea. I have read quite a few of the articles about vitamin C and am wondering about starting her on this but higher doses.

My daughter was always active and loved her friends and now she has completely changed, she has no energy whatsoever and this condition is bringing her and the whole family down. My daughter can't accept that she has to rest, to be honest neither can i! She has lots of spots under her skin on her face and arms. She's asthmatic and had pneumonia 3 and a half years ago, and from this she has since before easter been ill with her throat to begin with and it has developed further to her the rest of her body. She gets out of breath walking from room to room and this is not her asthma.

Our doctor is refering her to counselling too because she cries a lot and feels down. I'm so sorry to waffle on but i would really appreciate any help or advice on vitamins, who can i go to, to give me advice on her nutrition?

Thanks in advance.

I have been in touch with AYME and a support group

Have you considered seeing a rheumatologist or immunologist? I also don't know if she has had any bloodwork drawn, but that would really help in showing what she is low on or has too much of. Hope this helps!

Hi, my daughter has had 4 blood tests and all came back normal except for the liver function test which was slightly higher than it should be.

Are the other tests available on the NHS do you know or can you request to see an immunologist? Do you have to pay privately?

Thanks for your reply, Marie.
