Hi,
Im a newbie member, i have been reading the board for a while and
decided to join in.
I have had cfs for 12 years. Earlier this year i started the Gupta AR and
have seen a steady improvement in my symptoms.
I read that someone else on the prog is now riding a bike occassionally. That was so good to read - its one of my dreams.
On sunday i drove a 4 hour round trip to see my daughter at university.
Six months ago i was sure i would never be able to do that. I was sleeping
the days away and normality seemed a life time away. Each month that goes by i feel nearer to leading a normal life. (that drive was my first goal so succeeding in doing that has been incredible)
I look forward to getting to know you all...

How are you keeping Kenvj?
Ive had a dip since the drive. Im still doing more during the dip
than i did 6 months ago - back then id have been confined to my
bed between school runs. Im not sleeping during the day and im
keeping up with some housework so all in all, this dip is pretty
much a `high` in comparison to past dips
I like coming here to read about others with m.e
I feel less isolated when i read of others with my maddening
symptoms.
Im thankful for this forum, its a godsend in many ways

Hi Emerald - I wish I could say that I'm doing well, but I'm not. I'm going through a really bad dip, virtually back to where I was before I started. I think the problem has been caused by intense stress from an unrelated health problem that I've been having. I'm doing everything that Ashok advises to do for a dip and I'm keeping faith with the program. The program worked like magic for me earlier and I see no reason why it can't get me back on track again. I notice that you said you've had other dips so I take it that you came back on track again, I'm sure I'll do the same.
Nice talking with you Emerald. |
