5 yr prior, i had an ANA of 1:280,i went to have it check by a rheumatocogist and it was a little better , but still abnormal.
This may it is 1:650.

My question is: Can a person have a high ANA and not have any diseases like lupus or RA? I mostly just experience muscle pain and in stress areas like certain back trigger points. My Lumbar (back) muscles are very weak and can easily go out. I have alot of fatigue and tension headaches. I have had these for like 20 yrs. The fatigue seems to be more severe lately though
When I get flair ups it is when using my shoulder muscles, or bending over towork in the backyard. I have been told that i may have fibro, . Can Fibromyalgia cause high ANA tests ?

According to Dr. David Bell, up to 25% of ME/CFS patinets have an abnormal ANA and some autoimmunity problems. Also, 29% of fibromyalgia patients have a positive ANA titer as well.
