| Hello, everyone. I am grateful to have found this site! I have been almost "bed ridden" for the past 6 months, due to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I was a full-time college student majoring in Psychology. I was doing so well, then it hit me. I had to "medically withdraw" from college, until I can get over this illness. I am also a full-time mother of two wonderful children. I am a 29 year old female and am awaiting a Carpal Tunnel Release surgery next month. I am just wondering how each person copes with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I am open to new ideas! I am sorry that we all have to suffer from this debilitating illness! Sincerely, Tam |

hi ptense welcome,
i agree with mike that it isnt going to be easy to find something that helps. Right now im doing well on the amy yasko simplified protocol along with keeping a strict sleep schedule (go to sleep and wake up at same time ever day, and waking up early).
Also i know 2 people that were cured by going on a very low carb diet and taking alot of antioxidant supplements (coq-10, alpha lipoic acid, glutathione). But everyone is really different and different things help different people.
The supplements that help me the most are sublingual b12, folic acid, and NAC.
Let us know if you have any questions, i know its alot ot take in. |
