I have had CFS for 28 years. I recently had a test for chlamydia pneumoniae and it came back positive. Have any of you had a positive test for this and what did you do about it? It seems to be common in people with CFS.
As i said in previous post i have had M.E for 15 years and am no better, I emigrated in 2009 and found a new GP who was really nice did some investigations looked at my records and found out i had had Graves disease for 10 years, i am now having treatment which is not working very well and probably will need my thyroid removed. I saw him this morning because i am still ...
Hi, I am a twelve year old who has been suffering with M.E. for nearly 2 years now. I found this forum when searching the internet to pass the time - I am currently off school with a pounding headache, bad fatigue and a bad throat infection, thought to be tonsillitis. I had nine bouts of tonsillitis in the course of the first year of my illness- thought to be why I contracted CFS. What ...
I have just discovered I have low ferritin during my worst episode of CFS. Do any of you know what your ferritin levels are? Some believe low ferritin can cause fatigue even when there is no anemia. I am eagerly waiting to hear from you.
I'm afraid I can't do a link, but if you type: adelaide cfs mri study, into google, it comes up with some interesting news. The findings of this study, as much of it as i can understand, match my experience over the last 20 years. It would be fantastic if this was 'it', we haven't had any good news for ages now, oh please let this be the start of the end of m.e / ...
I've had CFS for about a year and it's only been getting worse. Originally I lived in Washington state and became so fatigued that I had to quit my job. After being unemployed for a little while and getting off my antidepressants at the time (zoloft) I started to feel a lot better.

I am now on treatment but still feel no better than I ever did. I try exercising when I can, but its the drunk feeling which is bad, I get a few good weeks when I can walk unaided and ...
I just got back from my appointment with a sleep specialist... I'm feeling rather confused and scared and was hoping that you people here could fill in some blanks.
A little about me: I'm 29, female, physically active and not overweight at all (lots of walking and weight lifting), and I suffer from near crippling chronic fatigue and will often pass out if I'm not careful. I never snore, I never wake up gasping for ...
how does one manage having chronic fatigue sydrome?
about 6-7 years ago I gained 100 pounds from medication from something else.
Since then I lost 40, but gained it slowly back because I was developing CFS.
I am now 100 pounds overweight and unable to exercise and having tons of probelms eating healthy. I do not have the energy to cook or make healthy meals. I also have stomach problems on top of that which ...
It took me several months to figure out what CF is for me. I say this because all kinds of things could make your immune system crash. But for me, this is what I learned: Fluoride sits in your pineal gland, slowing down melatonin production. If you stop sleeping, you'll never recover. I avoided fluoride like the plague for a full month. Then I slowly went on the raw food diet. My PH went up ...
