General Discussion or Questions concerning Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

CF and adverse weather conditions

Hi everyone.

I just joined now and am praying someone on this forum can recognise my symptoms and say 'Yes! That's the same as me'!

I feel like an absolute freak with my 'symptoms' and the GP seems to just poo-poo what I tell him.

Basically, I live in Glasgow in Scotland. I moved up here from London 10 years ago.

When I moved up initially, I was ok, but after about 5 years, I ...

Categorical Pain

I have seperated my pain into four categories.

a. Pain from muscle fatigue (hurts to raise arm, walk or stand). (releived by rest)
b. Joint pain. (a good martini helps :D )
c. Muscle stiffness and cramping. (releived with naproxin)
d. Pain, possibly, caused from lack of blood circulation and inflammation. (releived some with tramadol)

I would like to know why I have these different kinds ...

Pressure came back to my head/body, felt my liver working(wierd), was able to function and think. Lasted about an hour. Subsequently have been doing it more, 3 breath ...

Amino Acids - good early results!

Just a quick post to update anyone who might not have looked down this road.

I've been on a broad range of supplements for about 15 months - all the important ones: B vitamins, multis, Myhill's Magic Minerals (very useful... saves a lot of money), simple methylation cycle supplements and sinatra protocol supplements for mitochondria...

Very consistent (although slow!) improvment over this period, but still having issues with muscle recovery and low stamina.

So I've ...

Interesting read

I'm one of the people with cfs that has been to all of the regular doctors who all seem to be in agreement that there is "nothing wrong with me". This couldn't be further from the truth. Anyway, I recently came across this book and I was wondering has anyone else had read it? It's on the website: howibeatcfs.com

A college kid wrote it but it appears to be filled with good information that I ...

CFS and CoQ10

It has now been shown that the extreme fatigue experienced by CFS/ME sufferers is a direct result of mitochondrial dysfunction (i.e. dysfunction in the energy production mechanism of our cells). (http://www.anhcampaign.org/news/chronic ... chosomatic) Since CoQ10 is directly involved with the energy metabolism in our cells, I would LOVE to hear from any of you who have taken CoQ10 as a supplement for CFS. What dose were you on; how ...
