Chronic Fatigue or Narcolepsy Symptoms but Doctors stumped

I would like to ask regarding the symptoms, remedies and diagnosis for chronic fatigue syndrome and narcolepsy, including related illnesses or infections.

It was not directly linked to any illness as a post viral infection, however it was not unknown for me to have tonselitis often in my final years of ...

All these symptoms i've been having lately with my sore eyes, increased headaches, not being to look at light, feeling really weak. This makes me so worried I keep thinking in my mind if I have a tumor at the back of my eyes or something, or could it be menigitis? Anyone had a lumbar puncture test

I was wondering if anyone had a lumbar puncture test also known as a spinal tap. This procedure is where they collect your spinal fluid and then analyse it. I wondering if it was worth getting this test done?

My question is this? Does anyone have a sed rate that is over the normal? I have read what Dr. Bell wrote and he said that the sed rate is around 0-3. He said anything goin up toward higher limit then it is not CFS. He said it is something else.

parental guilt

Hello,

Currently being investigated for CFS after 4+ years of severe and dramatic symptoms. I am wondering how others cope with the demands of raising children, with minimal to no energy.
I have two older children who remember the 'before' me and my little two only know the 'after' me. I feel especially guilty with the older two, who do not understand my limitations. Before CFS, I was always the first to volunteer at the ...

Is Acupuncture beneficial?

Hi all

Just wondered if anyone with CFS/ME has tried acupuncture for symtom relief. At the moment I am undergoing CBT and taking melatonin, the former not having much of an effect yet, just making me more confused than ever! The melatonin does seem to be giving me a much deeper sleep although I still wake up a few times in the night, and overall not having much effect. I feel like I need to ...
