Hey, everyone i am new to the sight and have chronic fatigue syndrome. Ive done alot of different treatments for CFS and my doctor just wanted me to try effexor. He said i could give me more eneergy and help relieve the little bit of pain that i have. Has anyone here had any success with using Effexor for this? Are there any side effects with this drug? I am in my early 20's and i am so tired all the time. Sometime even when i havent done anything i feel totally exhausted. I feel like im on sedative drugs or something. Can i get tested for Chronic Fatigue?

I suggest that anybody that has a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue go to a specialist that would treat hypothyroidism. Standrd lab tests arent accurate

I get so light headed when i stand up from sitting down for a while. My doctor said i have neurally mediated hypotension, or something like that. I was diagnosd with CFS after about 10 years of being very fatigued.. I havent seen alot of doctors about this although i have almost all the symptoms of CFS, I'm wondering if there could be something else wrong. I have an appt to see an endocrinologost and i was wondering if anyone else had luck with any types of specialists like this? What kind of things should i ask him?
