this is one of my worst symptoms i can barely move my fingers now. can anyone suggest anything that could help? i got a blood test at the doctor to test my esr and inflammation levels but it came back totally clear. i find this crazy as i have noticable swelling. think im going crazy.

My Aunt had lupus, my other Aunt Fibro, my mother has MS (as well as a host of other issues). Recently diagosed with CF and Fibro. Just wondering if any of you out there have similar genetic makeups?

My pain dr just started me out on a new drug for pain - Savella. He gave me a free 2wk titration pack working up from 12.5mg 2/day up to 50mg 2/day. I hear this is a very expense medicine so I'm glad I hoot a free sample. It depressed me so bad I wanted to jump off a bridge, I could not sleep longer than 2 hrs at a time and my night sweats ...

There is alot more active posting in the chronic fatigue and gupta program sections. The fibro section is a little dead. New people stop by and post in it, but thee isnt a whole lot of regular posters in it.

Currently my Dr has prescribed Neurontin for me and not lyrica due to I am trying to lose weight and she says that weight gain is one of Lyricas side effects. I take 200mg a day. Has anyone discovered a link between the use of insect repellent containing DEET and their own fibromyalgia?
