Discuss The Guptra Programme's Amygdala Retraining Techniqes

Ashok - Co-infections Questions

I've been doing your program for 3 months and I still can't do a task without post-external fatigue.

If you have a co-infection, this program doesn't seem to work. Lyme can't go away without treatment (anti-biotics or herbals), correct? The same with some of the other diseases, HHV-6 and others. Yes, strengthening your immune system can help but can't on it's own defeat the disease, correct?

Question about Gupta program for lyme patients.

Ashok,
Thank you for answering questions on this site. It is very helpful to those of us who do not have direct access to your clinic.

I have had CFS for about two years, and purchused your DVDs about two months ago. However, I have used them for only one. The reason for this is that during that month I had a bad crash, and was finally diagnosed with lyme disease, and chronic EBV. I ...

Consideration of and for Mr. Gupta

I support the sentiments of EmeraldDreams. The internet is weighed to the advantage of the attack mode mentality. There is no excuse for libeling Mr. Gupta. Mr. Gupta's right to advances his ideas in a clear and purposeful manner have to be defended by the rest of us. It is becoming increasingly apparent that his program brings betterment to quite a few people. This business of quibbling over whether it is a full recovery or ...

An Adventure.

I had such an adventure yesterday, I want to tell you about it! It might be an encouragement as to what you can do with a well-trained amygdala.

I've had a map for a circular country walk, not too far from where I live. It's been hanging on my notice board for about a year, waiting for me to get better enough to walk it (it's a three hour walk). Yesterday was a lovely mild, ...

Adrenal Support question

Another question for Ashok. . .

Would an adrenal support supplement such as Nutri Adrenal be worth taking during the early stages of the training as you look to stablise things?

I get very tired with a headache after meals particularly in the PM. The meal contents are non-specific, so it's not intolerance or hypersensitivity.

About Ashok Gupta - THE TRUTH!

Dear All,

Having read a few of the recent posts on the thread entitled "About Ashok Gupta", I thought it only fair that I should be able to answer peoples' concerns.

- "Entrepreneurship"!

I currently run a clinic based in Harley Street, where I treat people for ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia. At this clinic I also see people for other conditions including stress, where I use amygdala retraining for other things, but now most of my ...

About Ashok Gupta

i was pretty skeptical about the program, and waited to hear responses from patients before i put up this section of the forum. Alot of people say that it helps them.
Overactive stress response is definately a big factor in cfs.

Note:
* i edited this thread, because it was pretty unfair to ashok. Alot of people have made significant progress on the program. I was skeptical like everyone else, but it really seems to ...

white noise and amygdala

I was wondering what else we might be doing to stimulate the amygdala
and thought of our air filters. They are the large Austin air filters and my
sons have one in their rooms on level 2 which is quite noisy but we thought this white noise would be good but now wonder...

Recommend Additional Reading?

Does anyone (including Ashok!) have any recommended books for reading while doing the programme? I'm getting through a couple of CFS books before I start (a sort of clearing of the decks) and I'm interested in exploring more of the mind-body connection while progressing with the programme.

Anything that is positive and beneficial would be good.

EFT

I'm currently reading Joyful Recovery From Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME by Sasha Allenby before I start the programme.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Joyful-Recovery ... 1606931458

And I was wondering how compatible EFT is with the programme. I'm sure it can only help but I'd like others and/or Ashok's input.
