whey protein for fatigue and sore throat

I have cfids and find 2 things that make my life a little more tolerable.Whey protein from Immunotec canada which has helped erase my chronic sore throat. It ,more importantly, has helped with the debilitating fatigue. It is whey protein which is available everywhere at a fairly low cost. I am told it is inefficient for people such as us .So b/c of desperation I pay 200 /month. It works tho'. I try to ...

online sites for purchasing supplements?

Can anyone recommend a site for purchasing supplements online in bulk to save money? I usually buy from my local health food store but I know they mark up their products a lot.

Vitamin/herbal supplements that helped or done nothing

I will be continously updating and editing this post, so bear with me. There's alot of supplements here folks. It seems that not everyone's CFS/Fibro is the same, and each supplement will not have the same effect on you that effects me. Translation: Do not take my word as gospel! I have spent nearly $2,000 on supplements and a decent percentage of that has been wasteful. I'll try to eventually list all my symptoms and ...

Does anyone know of any UK doctors who endorse B12?

Hi,

I'm interested in trying vitamin b12 but every doctor I have mentioned it to has refused to have anything to do with it. Does anyone know of any UK doctors who are willing to use it? Someone in Berkshire/Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire/London would be ideal.

Thanks,

Emma

Enzyme Use

I take digestive enzymes. By default, I found that if I eat a high protein meal and take enzymes I don't get cloudy urine. My own doc didn't even know what to make of it. I'm guessing I don't have enough natural enzymes of my own to break down protein.

I'm wondering if I should also take them on an empty stomach to try to heal the lining of the gut. They are so expensive ...

Help. My husband was recently diagnosed. What can I do?

My husband was recently diagnosed with Fibromialgea and Chronic Fatigue. I am trying to put together a list of things to start doing and keeping a log of the results. He has already improved slightly with the Cimbalta the doc gave him... but that is for his headaches. I want something that will be more long term help, rather than just pharmasutically treating his symptoms. His energy levels are dropping drastically and he and I ...

SUPERFOOD

my friend has fibromyalgia. several doctors have recommended she try a supplement called Superfood. due to her other medical conditions, no single supplement(magnesium,zinc...ect)would work because it would set off another condition. they said the superfood is designed better so that everything thats in it would balance each other out and not flare anything up and that the combination of ingredients would be absorbed better into her system. i have looked at GNC and other vitamin ...
