Hello - I just joined, so I'm new, but have had (sudden onset) ME/CFS since December '95, so in fact am an 'old' ME/CFS soul. It's a long and complex journey, and often not a happy one. Current frustration - I've developed hives, and am thinking that the reason could be dust mites (since it's hard for me to do regular laundry, among other things). Does anyone have any thoughts and/or possible solutions?

Don't rule out the possibility of stress as a cause or contributing factor. It can be. Not to harp on stress too much, but it has manifested itself into all kinds of physical ailments (including CFS and FM). There is more and more scientific evidence confirming this. If you haven't already, watch the movies, " What the bleep do we know" and "The Secret". There is good advice mixed with science in these, and it may give you some ideas to work with. Just something to think about. Happy hunting. Java
